Dance Off lets you practice a dance and compare your movements. Scores are for fun and are not a professional assessment.

Your camera and uploads

Your camera video, microphone-free replay recording, uploaded files, and movement tracking are processed on your device. We do not upload them to our servers. Exporting prepares a file on your device; pressing Share sends it to the application you choose. You control whether that application publishes it.

TikTok references

When you request a TikTok dance, we send its link to Apify to retrieve the reference video. We store that reference using Cloudflare R2 and serve it publicly for playback. Cached references expire after 14 days without an access through the app; scheduled cleanup removes them afterward. Public video URLs may be copied by others.

Services and analytics

Cloudflare hosts the website, reference videos, jobs, and usage statistics. Apify retrieves TikTok references. Google Fonts provides the page fonts. These providers receive the network information needed to serve their requests.

We collect limited events such as a completed round, an import failure, or an export outcome, with broad device, browser, and score categories. These events exclude camera footage, audio, pose coordinates, pasted links, filenames, and raw IP addresses. We do not use session recordings or persistent player profiles. Custom analytics are retained for up to three months.

To limit abuse, we temporarily store a keyed hash of your network address with import counts. People on the same network may share a limit. Operational records may contain the TikTok link necessary to complete your requested import.

Using and sharing content

Only import or share content you are permitted to use. You remain responsible for your uploads and anything you publish. Dance Off is not affiliated with TikTok. Do not use the service to bypass content restrictions, harass others, or overload the service. Features may be unavailable or limited while this beta is being tested.

Help and removal requests

Contact support@danceoff.ai for help or to request removal of a cached reference. Include the TikTok link so we can locate it.
